Once subscribed, you're able to add as many writing or editing requests to your queue as you'd like, and they will be delivered one by one.

That's fine. You can pause your subscription when finished and reactivate it when you have more writing projects to tackle. There's no need to let the remainder of your subscription go to waste.

On average, quick edits, sub 500-word articles, and proofreading requests can take less than 48 hours. Longer blog posts, press releases, and similar work can take up to five working days. Larger requests like ebooks, white papers, or bespoke research can take longer, depending on length and complexity.

We understand you may not have enough writing or editing work to fill up an entire month. If you only have one or two writing requests to take care of, that's where pausing your subscription comes in handy. Billing cycles are based on 31-day period. Let's say you sign up and use the service for 21 days, and then decide to pause your subscription. Payments will halt and you'll have 10 days of service remaining to be used anytime in the future. You reactivate it and away you go!

Most documents are delivered in Word format (.docx) with forced track changes applied. I also use Google Docs for simple feedback and communication.

Cognitive Copy offers a ton of flexibility in how you request work through Trello. When adding a request card, clients commonly include Google/Word docs, PDFs, PPTs, or even brief Loom videos to explain their needs. Basically, if it can be linked to or shared in Trello, it's fair game.

On the writing side, we don't cover CVs/resumes, sales pitch decks, RFPs, contracts, legal documents, or projects longer than 5,000 words. When it comes to editing and proofreading, we can help with almost anything, but prefer not to work with commerical/sales documents, legal documents, or projects of more than 5,000 words.
